Senior Revenue Consultant - TechnologyOne Property & Rating

Date: 18 Dec 2025

Location: Sydney, New South Wales, AU, 2000

Company: Atturra

What you’ll be doing

Our Core Applications Team is expanding, and we are keen to talk to you if you're looking for a new challenge.

Turn your council expertise into a consulting career.
If you’ve been the go-to TechOne person in your council — the one who fixes the weird errors, owns the rating cycles, untangles valuations, and somehow ends up training half the team — it’s time to get paid like a consultant and expand your impact across multiple councils.

What You’ll Actually Do
•    Lead and deliver Property & Rating improvements, upgrades, and implementations (no two councils run P&R the same… you know this already).
•    Run workshops that deep-dive valuations, property lifecycle, charging structures, instalments, recoveries, and annual billing.
•    Design and configure TechOne P&R solutions that make council processes cleaner, faster, and less chaotic.
•    Build and troubleshoot ETLs, workflows, DocOne templates, DocViews, BPA workflows, and other background wizardry that magically “just works.”
•    Fix data issues, run reconciliations, support UAT, and help councils stop duct-taping their processes together.
•    Share knowledge with clients, support juniors, and help councils level up how they use P&R.

Working Conditions:
•    Employment Type – Permanent full time
•    Office Location – Melbourne, Sydney and / or New Zealand

Who you’ll work with:
A tight, high-performing consulting team that:
•    Shares knowledge rather than hoards it
•    Celebrates wins (big and small)
•    Doesn’t mind a bit of chaos — we work in P&R after all.

Why This Will Be the Best Career Move You’ve Made:
•    Use your knowledge across multiple councils, not just one.
•    Grow into the consultant, architect, or solution specialist you know you can be.
•    Hybrid working, with meaningful in-person learning and client time.
•    A supportive team that actually invests in your development.
•    Real ownership. Real impact. Zero rates notices to print.

Ready to step into consulting?
Let’s talk. Your P&R expertise is worth more than staying stuck in the same rating cycle forever.

What will make you successful in this role?

•    Deep hands-on experience as a senior end user / Rates SME / system admin for TechOne Property & Rating
•    TechnologyOne CiA Experience is a must have
•    Strong understanding of:
o    property and valuation management
o    rating structures & levies
o    instalments & supplementary cycles
o    revenue, recoveries & compliance
o    EOY and annual billing cycles
•    Solid grasp of business process analysis (BPA) Configuration. You can map “what actually happens” vs “what we wish happened” and design improvements.
•    Experience with:
o    ETL’s
o    BPA’s
o    DocOnes
•    Workflows
The confidence to help run workshops, ask the hard questions, and guide councils toward smarter processes.
•    Excellent Documentation & communication skills.
A team-first attitude — willing to jump into the office or head onsite to learn, shadow, collaborate, and build consulting skills.
