What you’ll be doing
Our Business Applications is expanding, and we’re keen to connect with experienced Property & Rating (P&R) professionals ready to step into (or continue growing in) a consulting role.
You’ll work alongside experienced consultants to help councils improve, upgrade and implement TechnologyOne CiAnywhere (CiA) Property & Rating solutions, bringing structure, accuracy and efficiency to revenue and rating processes.
• Deliver and support Property & Rating implementations, upgrades and enhancements within TechnologyOne CiA
• Configure and optimise key P&R areas including valuations, property lifecycle, rating structures, billing cycles, instalments and recoveries
• Participate in and facilitate workshops, working through current processes and shaping improved system-driven solutions
• Build and support BPA workflows in CiAnywhere, improving automation, consistency and control across rating processes
• Configure and maintain DocOne outputs, ensuring accurate and compliant customer communications
• Work with ETLs, data processes and integrations, supporting clean and reliable data movement
• Assist with data migration activities, including validation, reconciliation and issue resolution
• Support UAT, reconciliations and reporting, ensuring solutions are accurate and fit for purpose
• Provide client-facing support, training and knowledge transfer, helping councils build confidence in their P&R environments

• Travel Opportunities – Travel required for workshops, key delivery phases and client engagement
What will make you successful in this role?
• Strong hands-on experience as a Rates SME, senior end user or system administrator within TechnologyOne Property & Rating
• TechnologyOne CiAnywhere (CiA) experience is essential
• Solid understanding of the end-to-end rates lifecycle, including:
o Property and valuation management
o Rating structures, levies and charges
o Instalments and supplementary cycles
o Revenue, recoveries and compliance interactions
o End-of-year processing and annual billing cycles
• Proven ability to build or support BPA workflows in CiAnywhere
• Experience working with:
o ETLs and data processes
o DocOne configuration
o Workflows and system configuration
• Strong problem-solving and reconciliation skills, you understand where P&R data goes wrong and how to fix it
• An understanding of the Data that sits behind the software is advantageous
• Ability to contribute to or run workshops, ask the right questions and guide councils toward better processes
• Clear communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain complex rating concepts simply
Highly desirable:
• Experience contributing to Ci to CiAnywhere (CiA) upgrades
• Exposure to TechnologyOne SaaS+ environments is desirable
