Finance ERP Lead
Date: 19 Aug 2026
Location: Sydney, New South Wales, AU, 2000
Company: Atturra
What you’ll be doing
Atturra is seeking a highly experienced Finance ERP Lead with a strong background in ERP implementations and functional deployments to join our rapidly growing Scholarion team. The ideal candidate will bring strong finance and ERP expertise and be fully or partially qualified as a CA or CPA.
The Senior Product Specialist — ERP Onboarding & Customer Success is a hybrid role combining deep ERP/SIS domain expertise with hands-on delivery accountability and the build-out of Scholarion's Customer Success function. The incumbent works directly with schools to land deployments on time and on scope, brings product and process insight back into the Scholarion roadmap, and establishes the frameworks, cadence and tooling that will underpin ongoing customer success as the partner school portfolio grows. This is a foundational role: it is as much about shaping how Scholarion runs onboarding and customer success as it is about doing the work itself.
Key Responsibilities:
ERP Product & Onboarding Specialism
- Act as Scholarion's resident ERP/SIS subject matter expert, bringing hands-on knowledge of student information systems, CRM-based recruitment and admissions, and ERP finance/HR/payroll modules to inform product configuration and roadmap decisions.
- Translate school operational requirements into Scholarion's delta classification framework — distinguishing Included Configuration, Roadmap Feature Enhancements, and School-Specific Enhancements — to keep deployments within the deploy-not-build model.
- Partner with Product and Delivery leadership to pressure-test new functionality against real school workflows, surfacing gaps, edge cases and configuration risks before they reach a live deployment.
- Maintain and extend onboarding documentation — functional deployment guides, configuration playbooks and module-specific reference material — so the product knowledge built through deployments is captured and reusable.
- Bring an informed external view to Scholarion's roadmap discussions, drawing on prior ERP vendor experience to flag where capability, sequencing or packaging may need to shift to meet school expectations.
Deployment & Onboarding Delivery
- Own delivery of assigned school onboarding engagements end-to-end — from contract handover through configuration, training, UAT support and go-live — working within the module sequencing already defined for the school (SIS Modules 1–11; ERP Module 12).
- Run discovery and scoping sessions with school stakeholders to confirm organisational structure, user hierarchy, data readiness and integration requirements ahead of configuration.
- Coordinate UAT cycles with school leads, triaging issues, logging change requests and working with Delivery and Product to resolve configuration or functional blockers.
- Track deployment progress against agreed milestones, escalating early wherever a school's readiness, resourcing or decision-making is putting a go-live date at risk.
- Support partner school relationship management alongside the Director Scholarion and Head of Delivery, including preparation for governance touchpoints and milestone reviews.
- Contribute to the onboarding brief and contract documentation for new schools, ensuring commitments captured in commercial documents are deliverable within the standard build.
Building the Customer Success Function
- Design and stand up Scholarion's Customer Success operating model — success planning, customer health scoring, adoption tracking and renewal/expansion signals — adapted from proven ERP/SaaS practice to the K–12 context.
- Define the post-go-live transition process from onboarding delivery into ongoing customer success, including handover documentation standards and a clear point of accountability for each school.
- Establish a cadence of executive business reviews and value-realisation check-ins with partner schools, demonstrating measurable outcomes against the goals agreed at onboarding.
- Build the foundational tools, templates and reporting needed to run Customer Success at scale as the portfolio of partner schools grows beyond the current foundation cohort.
- Identify expansion and retention risk early, working with the Director/GM on commercial response where a school's adoption or satisfaction is trending off track.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Build trusted, credible relationships with school leadership, business managers, and IT leads as a knowledgeable and reliable Scholarion representative.
- Work closely with the Director, Head of Delivery, GM Products and Microsoft Alliance contacts to keep delivery, product and partnership activity aligned.
- Represent the voice of schools internally, feeding configuration friction, adoption barriers and feature requests back into product planning.
- Support pre-sales activity and product demonstrations for prospective schools — preparing and delivering demo content tailored to the audience (school leadership, business managers, IT leads), answering functional and technical questions in real time, and bringing ERP/SIS domain credibility to the sales conversation to strengthen prospective schools’ confidence in Scholarion.
- Maintain demo-ready environments and supporting sales collateral in good order, and work with Sales to scope and rehearse bespoke demonstrations ahead of high-value or complex prospective school pitches.
Capabilities & Experience:
Essential
- Demonstrated experience in customer success, implementation consulting or onboarding delivery within higher education or K–12 SIS/ERP SaaS environments.
- Strong cross-module ERP knowledge spanning student/SIS administration, finance, HR or payroll, gained through hands-on consulting, business analysis or customer success roles.
- Direct experience with CRM-based recruitment, admissions or enrolment solutions, and the ability to translate that experience into other platform contexts.
- Track record of running structured success planning, executive business reviews and value-realisation conversations with senior institutional stakeholders.
- Experience facilitating discovery workshops, capturing business requirements, and translating them into functional documentation, gap analysis and change requests.
- Comfortable operating with significant autonomy in a role still being shaped — able to build process and structure rather than simply follow it.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to move fluently between technical configuration detail and executive-level conversation.
Desirable
- Prior exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse or comparable ERP platforms.
- Familiarity with Australian K–12 schooling structures, including independent schools and the broader education SaaS landscape.
- Experience designing or refining a customer success function from an early stage, rather than operating within an already mature one.
- Background managing commercial portfolios with accountability for retention, expansion or net revenue retention outcomes.
Personal Attributes
- Direct, plain-spoken communicator who builds trust quickly with school stakeholders under pressure.
- Calm and methodical under ambiguity, with a bias toward structure and measurable progress.
- Genuine interest in education technology and the practical realities of how schools operate.
- Comfortable holding both a builder mindset (standing up new functions) and a deliverer mindset (landing live deployments) at the same time.
