  • Maintain platform resilience, scalability, and optimisation across government‑specific constraints.
  •

Migration Enablement & Tooling Integration

  • Own the platform’s enablement of the Azure Migrate toolchain, including servers, applications, and databases.
  • Guide cross‑functional teams in interpreting Azure Migrate assessments and shaping migration patterns (rehost, replatform, replace, etc.).
  • Coordinate VMware‑based migration activities, working with agency infrastructure teams to align on configuration, compatibility, and cutover readiness.
  • Ensure migration tooling integrates with governance, landing zones, and operational requirements.

Security, Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure all platform constructs comply with:
  • ASD ISM controls, including identity, logging, monitoring, segmentation, and encryption
  • PSPF, including protective marking and handling requirements
  • Agency accreditation processes, including IRAP and continuous assurance
  • Embed security‑by‑design into Terraform modules, pipelines, and platform automation.
