What you’ll be doing
Our Atturra Data & Integration team is looking for experienced Denodo Data Engineers / Developers for a permanent or contract opportunities, to work within our Data & Integration Business, delivering to our Atturra clients.
This is a hands-on opportunity to join Atturra’s Data Platforms team and play a central role in delivering data products. You will be working directly with SAP and non-SAP data sources to create reusable virtualised data models that drive critical finance and commercial reporting outcomes. This role contributes to unlocking our customers enterprise data for broad, agile consumption.
This role can be based in Melbourne or Sydney with requirements to work either in our Atturra office or client site (as needed).
Specific Responsibilities:
- Build Denodo base views and derived views
- Building data model that represent current business processes
- Engaging with stakeholders and gathering requirements
- Source and integrate data from SAP ECC and other enterprise platforms
- Translate business and technical requirements into efficient virtualised data models
- Optimise performance of Denodo views and manage access configurations
- Contribute to backlog grooming and sprint delivery planning in agile squads
- Participate in peer reviews and enforce best practices in documentation and performance tuning
- Assist with troubleshooting and enhancements for existing Denodo solutions
- Ensure data lineage, security, and transformation logic are clearly defined and traceable.

What will make you successful in this role?
Technical Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience delivering solutions on the Denodo Platform (Denodo certification highly regarded)
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques
- Experience working with version control systems, testing frameworks, and structured documentation
- Proven track record of working in agile delivery environments and collaborating with business stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to produce clean, maintainable, and performance-optimised virtual data assets.
