webMethods Product Owner

Date: 16 Mar 2026

Location: Makati, Other, PH, 1226

Company: Atturra

The webMethods Product Owner is accountable for the strategic direction, operational excellence, and commercial value of enterprise webMethods integration platforms delivered through managed services and project engagements.
This role partners with client stakeholders, solution designers, developers and security teams, and delivery teams to translate business priorities into a pragmatic roadmap and a prioritised backlog. Success is measured by platform stability, service quality, cost optimisation, and continuous modernisation while maintaining alignment with standards and target architecture.

Key Accountabilities:

Platform Ownership & Strategy

•    Own and communicate the roadmap for the webMethods platform across managed services and project delivery.
•    Define platform strategy and measurable outcomes aligned to enterprise integration goals, standards, and target architecture.
•    Lead modernisation initiatives including version upgrades, platform hardening, retirement of legacy patterns, and cloud readiness (where applicable).
•    Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and integration standards.

Service Delivery & Operations

•    Oversee day-to-day managed service and client project delivery performance for the webMethods platform.
•    Define, monitor, and report on SLAs, KPIs, and service quality measures (e.g., availability, incident volumes, defect leakage, delivery predictability).
•    Coordinate incident, problem, change, and release management to ensure timely remediation and root-cause prevention.
•    Ensure platform compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements, including evidence for controls and operational processes.

Backlog, Demand & Release Management

•    Own and prioritise the platform backlog, balancing operational stability, risk reduction, and new capability delivery.
•    Translate business demand into clear epics and features with measurable acceptance criteria and outcomes.
•    Govern release planning, maintenance windows, deployment schedules, and rollback/contingency plans.
•    Promote repeatable, API-first, and reusable integration patterns, templates, and governance.
•    Stakeholder Engagement & Commercial Leadership
•    Act as the primary interface between client stakeholders, enterprise architecture/security, and delivery teams.
•    Provide executive-ready reporting on platform performance, risks, dependencies, and improvement plans through agreed governance forums.
•    Support commercial governance across managed services and project engagements, including scope, prioritisation trade-offs, estimation inputs, and value tracking.

Continuous Improvement & Optimisation

•    Identify and deliver automation, reliability, and cost-optimisation opportunities (tooling, monitoring, self-service, and standardisation).
•    Improve service maturity through runbooks, SLOs/SLIs, problem management, capacity planning, and knowledge management.
•    Champion DevOps/DevSecOps practices, CI/CD, and repeatable delivery for integration assets.

Working Conditions:

•    Permanent full time
•    Remote
•    Philippines

What will make you successful in this role?

To succeed in this role, you will bring deep integration platform expertise, strong service delivery governance, and the ability to translate business priorities into a clear platform roadmap.

•    Proven ability to lead through influence, combining technical credibility with stakeholder management and a quality-first mindset.
•    Demonstrated delivery of enterprise integration capabilities (APIs, messaging, file transfer, and event-driven patterns).
•    Experience operating within managed services environments, including SLAs/KPIs, operational reporting, and continual service improvement.
•    Strong client-facing capability, including facilitating workshops, translating requirements into outcomes, and communicating to technical and executive audiences.
•    Ability to operate effectively with ambiguous scope, evolving requirements, high technical complexity, and cross-team/platform dependencies.
•    Working knowledge of Agile delivery and backlog management; able to partner effectively with architects and engineering leads.
•    Sound service management capability (incident/problem/change/release, operational governance); ITIL knowledge is advantageous.
•    Understanding of security-by-design, audit requirements, and platform observability (logging, monitoring, alerting) for integration services.
•    Strongly Preferred
•    Hands-on delivery experience with Software AG webMethods (e.g., Integration Server, Universal Messaging, My webMethods, CAF).
•    Background in consulting, large-scale transformation programs, or product-led environments, with strong commercial and governance discipline.

Ways You’ll Stand Out

•    Think in terms of systems, outcomes, and long-term value, not just tasks.
•    Be credible and effective in both executive forums and technical discussions.
•    Be willing to challenge assumptions to improve outcomes.

This Role Is For You If You…

•    Enjoy working in complex, ambiguous problem spaces.
•    Are energised by building products, not just running projects.
•    Understand integration delivery is iterative, dependency-driven, and requires strong governance to land changes safely.
•    Care about measurable business outcomes and adoption.
•    Are willing to challenge both clients and technical teams when needed.

Person Attributes:

•    Excellent communication skills & the ability to consult with stakeholders at all levels.
•    Ability to build rapport within the workplace, work well within a team, excellent networking skills, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
•    Business acumen and ability to identify client business drivers.

Qualifications:

•    10+ years’ experience across integration/platform engineering, technical delivery, and/or product/platform ownership.
•    Tertiary qualifications, preferably in Information Technology, business, or project management.
•    Experience delivering webMethods solutions (e.g., Integration Server, Universal Messaging, My webMethods, CAF where applicable), including platform upgrades and lifecycle management.
•    Relevant certifications are beneficial (e.g., ITIL, Agile/Scrum, SAFe, or webMethods training/certification).
