Solution Designer

Date: 16 Mar 2026

Location: Makati, Other, PH, 1226

Company: Atturra

We are seeking a Solution Designer to design and govern enterprise-grade integration solutions using Software AG webMethods and cloud services on AWS and Azure. You will translate business and technical requirements into integration architecture and detailed designs, producing delivery-ready specifications for APIs, event/message flows, and hybrid connectivity between on-premises and cloud systems.

You will partner with delivery leads, developers, security, and client stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, supportable, and aligned with integration standards and target-state architecture.

•    You will be responsible for end-to-end solution design across the integration lifecycle, including: Lead solution design for integration initiatives spanning webMethods and cloud services (AWS and Azure)
•    Elicit and translate requirements into integration architecture, patterns, and detailed designs (HLD/LLD)
•    Define API-led, event-driven and batch integration approaches; select appropriate protocols (REST/SOAP, JMS, SFTP, EDI, etc.)
•    Design webMethods components (Integration Server services/flows, Universal Messaging, API Gateway policies where applicable)
•    Design AWS integrations (e.g., API Gateway, Lambda, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, Step Functions, Secrets Manager, KMS) and connectivity to webMethods
•    Design Azure integrations (e.g., API Management, Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault) and connectivity to webMethods
•    Define non-functional requirements and quality attributes (security, performance, resilience, supportability, observability)
•    Produce and maintain design artefacts: context diagrams, interface contracts, mapping specs, sequence diagrams, and runbooks
•    Collaborate with security and platform teams on IAM, network design, encryption, secrets management and compliance requirements
•    Support delivery teams with design clarification, estimation inputs, and technical decision-making through build, test and release
•    Drive integration standards and governance (naming, versioning, reuse, error handling, logging, monitoring) across initiatives
•    Ensure solutions are production-ready by contributing to test strategy, deployment approach (CI/CD), and operational support model

Key Accountabilities:

•    Own solution design for integration workstreams from discovery through to approved HLD/LLD and build handover.
•    Lead discovery and design workshops to capture requirements, constraints, non-functional requirements, and success criteria.
•    Define end-to-end integration architecture: interface boundaries, data movement, transformation/mapping, error handling, and recovery patterns.
•    Design and govern API and event/message solutions:
•    API contracts, versioning, throttling, and authentication/authorisation.
•    Messaging/eventing (JMS, SQS/SNS, Service Bus, EventBridge/Event Grid), ordering, and idempotency.
•    Design runtime and platform architecture for webMethods (IS clusters, UM realms, API Gateway, environments, HA/DR) and cloud integration components on AWS and Azure.
•    Define hybrid connectivity and security requirements (VPN/Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, DNS, routing, firewall rules, certificates, encryption, secrets management).
•    Embed operational readiness: observability (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting), deployment approach (CI/CD), and support handover (runbooks, SLAs, ownership).
•    Facilitate design governance: technical assurance, architecture/design reviews, security reviews, RAID input, and transition to support.
•    Communicate options, trade-offs, and impacts; align stakeholders on recommended designs and decision points.
•    Provide delivery inputs: estimates, sequencing, dependencies, and risk mitigation across build, test, and release.
•    Drive adherence to integration standards (naming, versioning, reuse, error handling, logging/monitoring) across initiatives.

 Working Conditions:

•    Permanent full time
•    Remote
•    Philippines

What will make you successful in this role?

The position requires a proactive Solution Designer with strong integration architecture skills, able to communicate clearly, govern design quality, and work hands-on with delivery teams to produce build-ready specifications. The position necessitates a highly motivated individual who can provide strong application skills, along with leadership, guidance and coaching abilities, to deliver quality focused outcomes.
