Product Owner with experience owning and evolving cloud service offerings across AWS and Microsoft Azure, translating customer and business needs into clear product roadmaps and prioritised backlogs. Strong stakeholder leader partnering with solution designers, developers, operations, security, and stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and cost-effective cloud services, measured through adoption, customer outcomes, and service performance.

Professional Experience
• Product Owner – Cloud Services (AWS & Azure)
• Owned the AWS & Azure services roadmap (e.g., landing zone, identity, networking, observability, backup/DR, cost governance), aligning priorities to business strategy and customer outcomes.
• Defined and maintained a prioritised backlog: epics/user stories, set acceptance criteria, and ensured the team delivered against a clear Definition of Done.
• Partnered with architecture, developers, security, and operations to shape solution designs, guardrails, and service standards (security, availability, supportability, and cost).
• Established product metrics and reporting (adoption, lead time, change success, incident trends), using insights to drive continual improvement.
• Led stakeholder engagement and governance: facilitated workshops, managed expectations, communicated release notes, and drove decisions on trade-offs, scope, and timelines.
• Ensured operational readiness for releases: runbooks, monitoring/alerting, access and support processes, and handover to service teams where applicable.

Certifications
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (or higher)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• Agile/PO: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) / PSPO / SAFe POPM (as applicable)
• ITIL 4 Foundation (useful for service ownership and operational alignment)
Tools & Technologies
• Cloud platforms (AWS & Azure)
• Landing zones: account/subscription strategy, identity integration, guardrails and policy-as-code
• Core services: networking, compute, storage, database, container basics (EKS/ECS, AKS), serverless basics
• Security: IAM/RBAC, KMS/Key Vault, secrets, logging/auditing, vulnerability management concepts
Cloud operations, reliability & service management
• Observability: CloudWatch/Azure Monitor, log/metric standards, alerting, dashboards, SLOs and error budgets
• ITSM alignment: incident/problem/change, service catalogue, CMDB considerations, runbooks and operational readiness
• Resilience: backup/DR patterns, multi-AZ/region concepts, availability and capacity management
Delivery toolchain & ways of working
• Agile delivery: Jira/Azure DevOps backlogs, sprint planning, refinement, release planning
• IaC/DevOps awareness: CI/CD concepts, automated controls and testing gates
Education
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Training and/or experience in product management, service management, and Agile delivery practices.
• Cloud architecture and operations knowledge across AWS and Azure, including security, networking, governance, and cost management fundamentals.
