Technical Consultant

What you’ll be doing

We are looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure Solutions Consultant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for customer support. You will be responsible for offering expert advice based on your deep technical knowledge and understanding of business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic advice and guidance on designs and solutions that align with the organization’s business objectives.
• Lead technical teams in designing and implementing infrastructure and system solutions.
• Advise on system and service transitions, ensuring smooth implementation.
• Ensure that designs comply with the Protective Security Policy Framework and ISM controls.
• Create and review technical designs.

• Location: Deakin, ACT
• Permanent, full-time position
• Hybrid work arrangement
• Australian Citizen with NV1 Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one

What will make you successful in this role?

• Over 10 years of experience in infrastructure solutions and project delivery.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise infrastructure solutions, including virtualization/hosting, data center networking, firewalls, storage, and data protection.
• Experience in working with application support teams to design, implement, and support server infrastructure for hosting applications.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for internal and external stakeholders..
• Solid understanding of identity and access management concepts, technologies, and solutions.
• Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence both internal and external clients and stakeholders.
