What you’ll be doing

We're looking for an experienced professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer support while creating secure, scalable application environments.

In this key role, you will take charge of designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and secure hosting environment and lead the transition of the existing environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Strategy: Architect comprehensive hosting solutions for Windows, RHEL, VMware, and Azure that align with our business objectives.
• Project Oversight: Manage the deployment and integration of hosting infrastructure, ensuring adherence to best practices and project timelines.
• Quality Assurance: Develop and execute thorough testing plans to validate designs, ensuring we meet the highest quality and performance standards.
• Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert guidance on complex issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring system reliability.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve successful outcomes, leading engineers to enhance teamwork and capabilities.

Working Conditions

•    Based in Deakin, ACT 

•    Permanent full time

•    Australian Citizen with Baseline Security Clearance desirable

What will make you successful in this role? 

• Experience: 10+ years in delivering infrastructure solutions.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in Active Directory, Entra, VMware, Azure, Windows, RHEL, NetApp, and data centre hosting.
• Migration Skills: Proven experience in system and data centre migrations.
• Security Knowledge: Deep understanding of ISM controls and security best practices.
• Architectural Leadership: Ability to lead architectural outcomes and develop comprehensive test plans.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Communication: Strong ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
