Atturra is seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Business Analyst to join our Cloud Business Solutions team. Experience working across Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (CE) projects will be highly regarded.
In this role, you will bring strong Business Analysis expertise and work closely with Atturra’s clients to understand their business needs and support the delivery of innovative technology solutions and customer transformation initiatives.
We are looking for someone who is a confident communicator and can effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, from business users through to technical teams. Strong presentation and facilitation skills are essential, along with the ability to lead discussions, navigate complex requirements and manage critical customer issues.
You will be responsible for evaluating and analysing end-user business requirements, translating them into clear functional and technical specifications, and working closely with delivery teams to develop and implement solutions that meet client needs.
This role is based in Canberra and offers a hybrid working arrangement, with a combination of working from the Atturra office and client sites as required.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis and documentation of complex business requirements, translating customer needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
- Facilitate requirements gathering workshops, stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions, ensuring outcomes, decisions and actions are clearly documented and communicated.
- Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyse current-state business processes, identify opportunities for improvement and define future-state processes and solutions.
- Work closely with technical and functional teams to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Apply strong knowledge of relational databases, data structures and data migration concepts when analysing requirements and supporting solution delivery.
- Work effectively within Agile/Scrum delivery environments, actively contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning and other project ceremonies.
- Develop and maintain high-quality project artefacts, including business and functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and workshop documentation.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including the development of test scenarios, validation of requirements and resolution of identified issues.
- Proactively identify requirements gaps, risks, dependencies and potential impacts, working with stakeholders and delivery teams to resolve them.
- Take ownership of Business Analysis outcomes and independently manage priorities across complex and fast-paced project environments.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced Business Analysts and share knowledge, methodologies and best practices across the team.
- Actively contribute to Atturra Practice Groups, knowledge-sharing initiatives and the continuous improvement of Business Analysis practices.
- Maintain and develop professional and technical capability through ongoing training, industry engagement and continuous learning.
- Positively contribute to Atturra’s collaborative culture and demonstrate our values when working with colleagues, clients and partners.
Working Conditions:
- On-site / Hybrid
- Location – Canberra
- Permanent
- Australian Citizenship a MUST
What will make you successful in this role?
Technical Requirements:
- Minimum 6+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within complex technology, digital transformation or enterprise application environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation, including facilitating workshops and translating business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Strong experience in stakeholder engagement and management, with the ability to confidently work with senior business stakeholders, technical teams and delivery partners.
- Experience working across the full project delivery lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through to solution design, implementation and go-live.
- Strong understanding of business process analysis and improvement, including current-state and future-state process mapping and identifying opportunities for optimisation.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments, collaborating closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Developers, Architects and Test teams.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM / Customer Engagement (CE) projects will be highly regarded.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and take ownership of Business Analysis deliverables within complex and fast-paced project environments.
- Highly adaptable and comfortable working through changing requirements, priorities and customer needs.
