What you’ll be doing

Are you a talented SOE engineer ready to make an impact in a dynamic and supportive environment? We are looking for someone who thrives on delivering exceptional customer support while helping to support a cutting-edge green fields SOE environment using MECM, Intune, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

As a SOE Engineer and key team member of our team, you will play an essential role in creating, implementing, and maintaining a secure and high-performing SOE environment. Here’s how you’ll contribute:


•    Design & Build: support and maintain our endpoint SOE and Virtual Desktop Environment.
•    Implementation: Assist in the build and deployment processes for our endpoints and Virtual Desktop Environment. Provide application packaging and deployment support
•    Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including as-built designs and standard operating procedures.
•    Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for endpoint and Virtual Desktop issues, minimizing downtime.
•    Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align SOE designs with our business objectives.

Working Conditions:

  • Predominantly office-based in Canberra
  • Permanent full time
  • Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain baseline clearance

What will make you successful in this role?

  • Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and MS365
  • Experience in SOE task sequence creation
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune, and Copilot
  • Application packaging and deployment skills
  • Experience  with Airlock Digital 
  • Exposure to applying Security Best Practices in line with the Information Security Manual (ISM)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
