What you would be doing?
We are on the hunt for high quality Azure Engineers to assist in a program of work to Migrate Clients workload to the cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build & Deploy: Build and deploy Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates for application components (VMs, storage, networking) against pre-configured Enterprise Scale landing zones.
- Migration Execution: Execute Azure Migrate activities, implementation runbooks, and production cutovers within Change Advisory Board (CAB)-approved change windows.
- Test Support: Support test execution and validation activities ahead of production cutover.
- Documentation: Produce documentation and participate in meetings supporting Technical Change Management processes for assigned applications.
- Hypercare: Provide temporary post-cutover support for migrated systems and contribute to SOP documentation during Hypercare.
- Security & Compliance: Work within the end-customer's Azure subscriptions under privileged access, adhering to the end-customer's Security Principles Framework and Essential Eight Maturity Model controls.

What will make you successful in this role?
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS services and Azure Migrate tooling.
- Infrastructure-as-Code authoring (ARM, Bicep, or Terraform).
- Solid grounding in either cloud platform & infrastructure engineering (compute, storage, landing zones) or cloud networking & security engineering (firewalls, load balancers, DNS/DHCP, network security groups) — stream dependent.
- Familiarity with change management processes and working within CAB-governed environments.
- Understanding of migration strategy frameworks (the 8Rs: Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, etc.).
Desirable Skills
- Prior delivery experience on Microsoft-partner-led migration factory engagements.
- Exposure to Australian Government cyber security frameworks (ISM, Essential Eight, DSPF).
- Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Python, or similar) to support migration tooling.
