What you’ll be doing
We are seeking a highly skilled Storage and Backup Engineer with an enthusiastic sense of customer support, you will need to communicate and coordinate with clients to achieve the success.
The role will involve:
- Delivery of technical support for the client/server environment in relation to storage and backups
- Maintaining backups, restores both on perm and cloud
- Provide advice and guidance on storage and backup infrastructure configuration and environment leading practices
- Patch and upgrade storage and backup systems in line with policy to ensure a secure and stable environment.
- Liaise with service providers to investigate and resolve issues and provide root cause analysis of supported systems
- Assist in maintaining a knowledgebase of documentation such as as-builts\SOP\Wi for supported systems
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents against SLA.

What will make you successful in this role?
- 5 years plus experience in Storage and Backup in enterprise environments
- Experience with Commvault (using on prem and Cloud storage) and Commvault Cloud (Metallic)
- Experience with enterprise storage including as NetApp.
- Highly Relevant certifications - Commvault, Veeam, NetApp
