Backup and Storage Engineer

What you’ll be doing

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage and Backup Engineer with an enthusiastic sense of customer support, you will need to communicate and coordinate with clients to achieve the success.

The role will involve: 

• Delivery of technical support for the client/server environment in relation to storage and backups
• Maintaining backups, restores both on perm and cloud 
• Provide advice and guidance on storage and backup infrastructure configuration and environment leading practices
• Patch and upgrade storage and backup systems in line with policy to ensure a secure and stable environment.
• Liaise with service providers to investigate and resolve issues and provide root cause analysis of supported systems
• Assist in maintaining a knowledgebase of documentation such as as-builts\SOP\Wi for supported systems
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents against SLA.

• Australian Citizen with NV1 Security Clearance
   

What will make you successful in this role?

• 5 years plus experience in Storage and Backup in enterprise environments 
• Experience with Commvault (using on prem and Cloud storage) and Commvault Cloud (Metallic)
• Experience with enterprise storage including as NetApp.
• Highly Relevant certifications - Commvault, Veeam, NetApp
