What you’ll be doing
Atturra are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to work with our Cloud Business Solutions partner in Brisbane, to showcase their strong Data Analysis skills to Atturra’s clients.
The Cloud Business Solutions arm of Atturra is a Microsoft Partner. We use technology to craft elegant solutions that enable Australian businesses and Government organisations to build a better future. Our team of consultants is well known for decoding the most complex problems to create purpose-build digital experiences for the client.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analysing data to help drive strategic decisions and improve business outcomes. You will collaborate with various departments to provide actionable insights and ensure data integrity across the organisation.
This role will require a hybrid working arrangement in a state-of-the-art Brisbane city office.
Additionally, you must have a minimum of Permanent Residence visa to be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and validate data from multiple sources (databases, spreadsheets, APIs, etc.)
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key insights
- Build dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
- Translate complex data into clear visualizations and written summaries
- Support business teams with ad hoc data requests and strategic analysis
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop solutions
- Monitor data quality and integrity and recommend improvements in data processes
- Automate reporting tasks and data workflows where possible.

What will make you successful in this role?
Technical Requirements:
- Min 5 years + of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
- Proficient in SQL and at least one statistical tool or language (Python, R, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
Highly Desired Experience:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and tools
- SAFe Scaled Agile
- PI System experience
- Background in mining
