What you’ll be doing
The Consultant – Digital & AI is a hands-on role within Atturra’s Digital Advisory who actively assists to contribute to our Digital Advisory and AI Accelerator. This role works directly with clients to identify high value opportunities and redesign how work gets done by combining human expertise with process redesign, operating model design, digital enablement and AI including copilots, automation, and agent-based solutions. The role is focused on providing digital strategic guidance, translating business problems into practical use cases and future-state workflows. The role sits at the intersection of business transformation, business operations, and technology and combine technical prototyping expertise with client-facing delivery
Key Responsibilties
Consulting & Client Engagement
• Manage client relationships understanding client needs and developing solutions that provide strong long-term relationships
• Support the provision of technology and digital advice (within a business strategy context) to our clients across a range of industries
• Work with the broader digital advisory team to analyse, workshop and generate insights and recommendations
• Develop client deliverables and recommend strategic solutions to improve business performance, including operational changes, process improvements, and organisational restructuring
• Support the development of our industry and capability-specific service offerings
Discover & Define Opportunities
• Engage with leaders and teams to understand business objectives, challenges, and priorities
• Identify friction points in how work is currently performed, including manual effort, delays, rework, and decision bottlenecks
• Translate business problems into clearly articulated opportunities
• Collaboratively work with clients to develop strong, practical use cases
• Support client workshops, ideation sessions, and pilot reviews
Translate Current-State Workflows to Future State
• Document how work is done today across people, processes, systems, and decision points
• Identify opportunities where technology like Analytics, RPA or AI can augment, automate, or re-orchestrate work
• Focus on practical understanding rather than overly complex process documentation
• Design future-state workflows that embed technology into day-to-day work
• Clarify roles, responsibilities, and decision rights between people and AI
• Consider skills, capability, and operating model impacts
Define Pilot-Ready Use Cases
• Shape ideas into pilot-ready use cases with clear scope and success measures
• Identify high-level data, integration, and tooling considerations
• Define assumptions, risks, and guardrails to support responsible technology use
• Support prioritisation of use cases based on value and feasibility
Client-Embedded Delivery
• Partner with clients to shape technically viable AI solutions from ambiguous problem statements
• Build and review prototypes, MVPs, and pilot solutions
• Provide senior technical credibility in client-facing discussions
• Guide decisions on when solutions are prototypes, pilots, or ready for scale
Learning & Thought Leadership
• Support implementation teams in navigating ambiguity and trade-offs
• Foster a culture of learning, experimentation, and craftsmanship
• Stay current with advances in AI technologies, including generative AI, agents, orchestration frameworks, and tooling.
• Experiment with new tools and approaches and bring insights into client work
• Contribute to internal playbooks, patterns and practices

What will make you successful in this role?
Essential
• Demonstrated 2 – 7 years of technology or management consulting experience
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and facilitate workshops
• Experience translating business needs into technology – enabled solutions
• Strong communication, presentation and report writing skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts across diverse audiences.
• Experience in business transformation, digital transformation, product management, service design, business architecture or process improvement.
• Business first mindset with strong systems and analytical thinking
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and early-stage problem spaces
• Human centered approach to technology design
• Curious, pragmatic and outcomes focused
• Strong facilitation and storytelling skills
Desirable
• Exposure to data, analytics, AI, Automation or decision support technologies.
• Experience redesigning business processes, workflows or operating models.
• Familiarity with copilots, generative AI tools or agent-based systems
• Familiarity with security, privacy and responsible AI considerations
